Fans can also get thier hands on some new loot during the Festival of the Lost as well. The biggest piece for many players is likely the Dinosaur styled armor, which ultimately won the community vote earlier this year, taking down the other choice of Monster armor. Pairing with the dino armor is the latest solar energy pulse rifle called the Jurassic Green, a new take on the classic Lincoln Green weapon. As fans have already seen, Jurassic Green comes with a wide range of perks, some which are better than others.

One perk in particular that the majority of the Destiny 2 community seems to agree on is that Adreneline Junkie feels a bit underwhelming. As a newer weapon perk, it gives players a bonus to damage and handling for a moderate duration after scoring a final blow against an enemy using a grenade. Ultimately, players have found the bonus to be difficult to proc, generally unusable with Stasis subclasses, and more of a PvE specific perk. Generally speaking, players tend to scrap weapons with this perk in favor of more sought after ones like Rampage, Killing Wind, Multikill Clip, and more.
Based on the usage rates, it appears that Bungie has taken notice of the perk not standing out as much as hoped. In a recent Tweet, Destiny 2 senior community manager Dylan “dmg04” Gafner provided a tease to players, warning them to hold on to weapons with the Adreneline Junkie perk on them. While he doesn’t specifically mention why, he does hint that Bungie has plans for the perk, indicating that the team has “fun good news, coming soon.” It’s likely that this perk is going to be reworked a bit or perhaps buffed to be more viable in most situations.
While the news should be a welcomed one, numerous replies to the Tweet have brought up the Vault Space issue, something that has been a constant thorn for players since Destiny 2 originally launched. The vault only has finite space to it and longtime players are likely nearing the cap, meaning hanging on to more weapon rolls may be difficult. Fans have been asking for more vault space for quite a while Bungie has slightly increased the hard cap in the past, fans are hoping for a bigger jump in the near future to help with all of these new armor and weapon rolls.
Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
