The Kings Fall is a popular Destiny raid that has now made its return, but not without its caveats that players should be made aware of. Even though Bungie stated that it had tweaked the raid, it is safe to say that one new addition is something that the gaming studio did not account for. The Kings Fall Raid in Destiny 2 is home to a boss known as Golgorath, who is now infamous for a glitch that startles players, producing an intense and loud roar when they die.

What makes this glitch even more interesting is that it is only experienced by a single player in the party, which makes for some hysterical Destiny 2 live stream clips. Essentially, upon death, the streamer will experience Golgorath’s roar, which sounds like it could fry sound systems, and during this traumatic event, other players will be oblivious to it occurring. This incident has led to a series of clips from different Destiny 2 players showing their encounter with the glitch and its effect on the gaming community. In comparing Destiny 2 Kings Fall to its predecessor, some fans have actually preferred the original raid, although bugs such as this one appear to be temporary.

Bungie has been made aware of the glitch and is advising players to turn down their sound systems during this boss encounter until the company is able to work out a solution. Until a solution can be implemented, players will have to abide by Bungie’s warning or suffer the consequences of Golgorath’s intense roar, which sounds more like an explosion going off than anything else. Luckily, the bug is not game-breaking, so the community is still able to play and complete the popular raid. If players brave the glitch, The Kings Raid players will earn multiple rewards, including a rare weapon chest and a chance to purchase a real-life sterling silver ring that features The Taken King and an engraving if they beat the raid by September 6, 2022. Thankfully players seem to be having more fun with this high-risk high-reward glitch than being frustrated by it.

Players will have to be on their guard for the effect that this glitch has on their eardrums until Bungie finds a suitable solution. Even so, The First Raid expansion is worth the investment for the gear that it will unlock, and a Destiny 2 Easter egg from The Kings Raid is now made relevant thanks to this expansion.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
