Specifically, it was confirmed in a montage near the end of the Direct that the current-gen update of EA and Criterion’s open-world racer, Burnout Paradise Remastered, will be released for the console sometime in 2020 (that’s as specific as the release window gets for now, unfortunately). Given that the Switch’s library is pretty short on high-profile racing games, this will be a welcome addition.

Luckily, Nintendo was more specific with the release dates of other games shown in the montage, such as Saints Row 4’s Switch port (March 27), the closed beta for Bohemia Interactive’s upcoming survival game Vigor (April 9), and the Trials of Mana remake (April 9, but a free demo’s available now). That being said, Nintendo noted that it’s possible that the coronavirus situation may result in these being changed.
As of this writing, Nintendo has yet to release the montage as its own video separate from the Direct Mini, but anyone interested in checking it out can find it at the 23:40 mark in the video below.
Burnout Paradise Remastered and other games will be ported to the Switch in 2020.
