The Switch version of the game will run at 60 frames-per-second and have a file size of just under 4 GB. Burnout Paradise Remastered isn’t the only EA game coming this year either as EA announced plans to bring over more games to the portable console, including Apex Legends, releasing this fall.

In an unsurprising move, the Nintendo Switch version of Burnout Paradise Remastered comes with a hefty price tag. Selling at $49.99, the game’s price follows a pattern of older games being ported to the Switch with a higher price point than its console counterparts. Games the BioShock Collection, Witcher 3 and Resident Evil 4 all debuted on the console at a higher price point than the current prices on Xbox One, PC, and PS4. Many have come to refer to this as a Switch tax.
Burnout Paradise Remastered was originally developed by Criterion Games and recently EA announced that the developer would be involved in a new Need for Speed title for next gen consoles. Though details are slim, the wait shouldn’t be too long to see the next gen efforts.
Burnout Paradise Remastered is available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
